Transportation Planning Legislation

SB 375 (Steinberg, 2007), if passed, would require regions to include "sustainable communities strategies" in the regional transportation plans. These strategies would set regional greenhouse gas reduction targets for 2020 and 2035. SB 375 is a two-year bill carrying over from 2007. To read the bill text and track its progress, click here.
